Configuring Mozilla Thunderbird

1. Open Mozilla Thunderbird.
2. Go to Tools and select Account Settings....
3. Click on the Add Account... button.
4. Choose Email Account and click Next.
5. Enter Your Name as you would like it to be displayed on all outgoing mail and your e-mail address in the form of username@valinet.com (or username@otherdomain.com if you have a different domain). This is your "Reply To" address. Click Next.
6. Choose POP.
7. For Incoming Server, enter: mail.valinet.com.
8. If you would like all the mail from all your accounts to go into the same Inbox, keep "Use Global Inbox" checked. Otherwise, uncheck it. If this is your only e-mail account, it doesn't matter.
9. Click Next.
10. For Incoming Username, enter username@valinet.com (or username@otherdomain.com if instructed to when you signed up).
11. Use the same name for Outgoing Username. Click Next.
12. Enter a meaningful name for Account Name such as eclecTechs Mail.
13. Click Next.
14. Click Finish.
15. You have successfully configured Mozilla Thunderbird!
