Email Setup

General Settings

You can set your mail client to use the following generic mail server address, or if you are a domain hosting customer you can use your domain in the place of eclectechs.com.

• Incoming (POP3/IMAP) Mail Server: mail.eclectechs.com
• Outgoing (SMTP) Mail Server: mail.eclectechs.com

Note: The outgoing SMTP server requires password authentication. This setup varies depending on your email client. You should use the same username and password for SMTP authentication as your incoming mail account.

Some internet providers block outbound SMTP traffic on the standard SMTP port of 25. Because of this, you may need to use a different, standard port to send mail. Generally, the SMTP port can be changed under the advanced settings of your account settings.

• Outgoing SMTP Port: 587
