Leaving Email on Server: Netscape 4.x

1. Open Netscape 4.x
2. Click on Edit in the top Menu Listing
3. Scroll down to Preferenced.
4. On the left hand side, click on the plus sign next to Mail & Newsgroups. if there is already a minus sign next to Mail & Newsgroups, go to the next step.
5. Click on Mail Servers
6. On the right hand side, there will be a listing of all mail servers used. Click on mail.valinet.com.
7. Click on the POP Tab.
8. Look for the box that says "Leave messages on server"
9. If this box is checked, uncheck it. If it is not checked you are not set up to leave mail on the server.
