Mail filters in Eudora

Setting up mail filters in Eudora is very easy. Open Eudora. Click on the Tools menu and go to Filters...

That will open the window shown below.

To create a filter you will first click on the New button. In this example we'll filter email as it arrives and automatically delete the mail from the server that matches our filter. To do that

• Where it says Match, select Incoming

• For Header you will select From
• Next select Contains and insert the site you would like to block. In this case we have chosen @spamsite.com
• In the next four boxes you can add more criteria if you want. In this example we have chosen not to.
• In the Action section you will select Server Options and choose Delete.

For this example we're going to have any mail that comes from spamsite.com deleted. Once you have entered the information as in the above example, you can press close the filters box and when it asks you if you want to save the changes, press yes.
